So this morning we went for a little walk to the woods that surrounds the massive park that is a 5 minute walk from our house!!! We had a bit of a rocky start from a certain young chappie who decided he couldn't walk and that his coat was all wrong (sleeves too long and zip up to the neck!) but after a while he realised that it was quite fun and really enjoyed himself! We found some wood carvings and bridges and bendy trees that apparently grow from bendy seeds and lots of colourful crunchy leaves!!! Although it was lovely and warm when we set off it was pretty cold when we got home!

Quite a while ago now (sorry - thought I had already posted these pictures on here!!) we went for a lovely little walk along the canal - a touch hairy when Matteo was wandering all over the track as he had to touch all the long grass and some cyclists were coming along the track as well!!! Plus Fredi thought the best thing would be to go up every slope, and down to the water's edge!! But they really enjoyed it and it tired them out!

Isabella was really missing school so at various times throughout the holidays she has gone off and done some writing!! The first is a list of the names of her extended family!!!

Then we had a shopping list!! We needed: ham, butter, cereal, milk, salad, olive oil and chicken apparently!










The next is a story she decided to write all by herself whilst I was in the shower!

 A Night                            Tiny mouse was sad in the woods.        A time fox live in the clock.

Bad mouse fighted everyone.     They all got away of the bad mouse.
