We have our first tooth!!! It has just about broken through the gum, and you can feel it but not yet see it too well! She's had a few nights where she's woken up and had a little cry but nothing too bad...I am soooooooo lucky!!! Such a proud Mummy!!!

Enjoying the sunshine.....

We had a lovely day of sunshine so we had a picnic out in the garden! Isabella took ages to eat as she was so distracted by everything outside she lost some, not all, interest in her food and then we left her in her highchair to play with her toys whilst we all got some much needed vitamin D!! Needless to say that it didn't take long for the toys to end up on the ground!!!! But she does look just adorable in her summer hat!

She loves her highchair, not least because she has now completely realised that when she goes in there she gets food, and boy does she love her food! Although we have some very funny faces over her fruit (apricot, peaches and pomegranate get the worst looks!) she eats everything....or at least when I get it in her mouth she does, but some food, like the blueberries, are just plain old messy!!

We have really got to grips with sitting up all on her own. We do have to occassional lurch to the side, the odd drunken tumble/roll backwards, the rare nose-dive onto the tummy and the giant reach for a toy which leaves us folded in half as we've forgotten we have legs that are now under the tummy and we don't know how to get back up, but other than that we are upright, unaided and loving the view!!!!

When we got back from our happy hols, the garden had got a little out of control! It's not a big garden at all but it had turned into a bit of a jungle in our absence. Isabella loves it as it makes loads of noise, things move and there are very big trees just the other side of our hedge which she thinks are great fun, and Daddy oftens fills the place with smoke when he's cooking on the bbq!!!

Cheap entertainment!!!!

Isabella was bored and it was Daddy's turn to amuse her!!! So he put her in the laundry basket and then pushed her round the room for a while - she loved it!!!
